    Procurement Officer Recruitment at AAA Medi-Calibrations Limited

We assist our customers and clients in setting up laboratories for IVF, diagnostics and research applications, by offering laboratory equipment procurement and supply, after-sales technical backup and scheduled preventive maintenance, specialized and general laboratory consumables, IVF consumables and media.

    Procurement Officer Recruitment Details:

    We are recruiting to fill the position below:

    Job Title: Procurement Officer

    Location: Lagos
    Employment Type: Full-time

    • Store Officer (₦100,000 – ₦200,000 Monthly)
    • Transport Coordinator (₦150,000 Monthly)
    • Junior Project Officer (₦250,000 – ₦300,000 Monthly)

    Responsibilities
    Procurement Operations:

    • Source and negotiate with suppliers (local and international) to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
    • Raise and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in line with approved procurement plans.
    • Manage and monitor the procurement lifecycle for medical equipment, consumables, and accessories.
    • Track and manage local and international orders to ensure timely delivery.
    • Liaise with the finance department on payment processing and with logistics teams on shipping and clearing arrangements.

    Inventory and Demand Planning:

    • Work closely with the sales and inventory teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Monitor inventory turnover and ensure procurement aligns with usage trends and shelf life of consumables.
    • Flag and manage risks of stockouts, overstocking, or expired items.

    Vendor and Compliance Management:

    • Maintain a reliable database of prequalified suppliers and ensure continuous vendor assessment.
    • Ensure all procured items meet regulatory standards, quality benchmarks, and customer specifications.
    • Maintain accurate and auditable procurement documentation and records.

    Import & Logistics Coordination:

    • Collaborate with clearing agents and logistics providers to manage imports, shipping schedules, and customs documentation.
    • Track international orders to ensure timely delivery and minimise disruptions in the supply chain.

    Cost Management & Reporting:

    • Drive cost-efficiency initiatives while ensuring product quality is not compromised.
    • Prepare monthly procurement reports, including cost savings, order status, and vendor performance.
    • Provide data-driven insights for procurement decision-making and budgeting.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

    • Procurement cost savings and price competitiveness.
    • Lead time for order completion (local and international).
    • Supplier delivery performance and reliability.
    • Compliance with procurement policies and documentation accuracy.
    • Inventory availability and stock turnover rate.

    Qualification and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Medical Sciences, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement, preferably within the medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare supply sector.
    • Strong knowledge of international and local procurement practices and medical laboratory product specifications.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement ERP systems.
    • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • High integrity, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset.

    Preferred Skills and Attributes:

    • Membership in a recognised professional body (e.g., CIPS, IPSN) is an added advantage.
    • Strong ethical standards and a keen sense of accountability.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
    • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

    Salary
    N250,000 – N300,000 Monthly.
