Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Healthcare Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of , carers to and from clients locations ensuring timely deliveries support our operations by ensuring the safety and timely transport of carers and essential supplies while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of driving practices, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

• Transport carers to and from patient locations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness.
• Communicate effectively with management and care staff regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct routine safety checks.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (Category B or higher).
• Previous experience in a professional driving role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK road networks, particularly Portsmouth, Bristol, and North Wales.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to identify potential vehicle issues.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with management and care staff effectively.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
